Jackie Mitchell, Residence Director
Jackie’s first job, at the age of 15, was as a nursing assistant in a nursing home. She so loved working with older adults that she furthered her education in senior care issues and in 1996 became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Jackie received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s degree in Business Administration/Long Term Care from Cleveland State University. She joined Elmcroft of Medina in 2004.
Jackie is very active in the Medina community, serving on the Board of Directors of Faith in Action, Medina County Caregivers, a not-for-profit group that helps service senior members of the community in their own homes. She is also active with the Medina Senior Network Group, serving on the Education Committee which plans educational programs for the Medina community.
